Labcore Selected by MJ Reider, Inc. as Laboratory Automation Tool to Reduce Costs and Improve Efficiency

READING, PENNSYLVANIA, USA, August 4, 2009  M. J. Reider, Inc. a NELAC-accredited and highly regarded environmental testing laboratory that performs analytical testing services throughout North America has selected LabCORE to automate business processes and the handling of data and documents at its Reading, PA location.

According to Barbara Coyle, President of M.J. Reider, "Automating our data and document collection and storage from various laboratory instruments and systems using LabCORE will enable us to greatly improve efficiency and provide our customers with a greater capacity of quality testing services. After looking at other solutions we found LabCORE to be the most flexible laboratory automation and records management system and the best solution for our company."

The initial implementation of LabCORE will automate the capture of raw data from a number of instruments in the metals and organics departments and allow analysts to quickly review, edit and automate the export of this data into their Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). LabCORE will also enable M.J. Reider to automate the creation and delivery of invoices and reports to customers via email.

Mark Ferrero, CEO of P-Wave, the company which developed LabCORE, states "We are excited to deliver this solution to M.J. Reider as it will have an immediate impact on their laboratory efficiency and profitability by saving many hours of tedious manual labor while improving accuracy. Their laboratory technicians can spend time on more revenue generating activities and can improve turnaround on receivables by automating the delivery of invoices to customers. The LabCORE pricing model gives M.J. Reider a lower start-up cost with impressive ROI and it allows them to extend the useful life of an older LIMS system."
