P-Wave, Inc., the company behind the LabCORE product, is a privately held Pennsylvania C Corporation formed in 1998 and located in Reading, Pennsylvania. Since its inception, P-Wave has been on the leading edge of web development by being an early adopter and innovator in the use of streaming media for training and corporate communications and later as a leading developer of web based records and document management solutions for regulated industries. Over the past 4 years, P-Wave, Inc. has focused on developing web-based products and solutions for the laboratory market. The LabCORE™ product as well as others actively being developed focus on improving the productivity and profitability of life science companies by enabling them to manage their documents and data in a compliant and efficient manner.

P-Wave has integrated its LabCORE laboratory document management product with LIMS companies like Promium's Element LIMS (www.promium.com) and Accelerated Technology Laboratories' Sample Master (www.atlabs.com) and partnered with these companies to sell LabCORE to their customers. P-Wave has developed a formal API to integrate with LIMS systems which does not require customization for most LIMS systems. In addition P-Wave has implemented LabCORE at laboratories such as the Institute of Ecosystem Studies (www.ecostudies.org) and RedPath Integrated Pathology, Inc. (www.redpathip.com) and at 3M's Specialty Film and Media Products Division Laboratories (www.mmm.com). LabCORE is an FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GLP and GCP validated system which means the product and our development process comply with the highest standards for computer systems currently available for life science laboratories.

In addition to P-Wave's proven sustainability as a company, P-Wave provides the source code to its LabCORE product with the purchase of a license. Having access to the source code provides with tremendous flexibility and piece of mind that its investment will always be maintainable and extendable.
